The Newlydead Game: Day 2 with Myriam
[At some point, when he has a chance, Ouma decides to go looking for a certian cardboard box lying out in the open. It shouldn't be hard to miss, he thought, most cardboard boxes don't have armholes near the bottom.]
[He seems pretty content with the way things are going so far, minor disagreements notwithstanding, but he wanted to check up on someone he managed to befriend. Wherever he managed to find the box (he may have picked the lock and sneaked into the sci-fi set), he slipped a note through the slot Myriam used to see through:]
tap-tap
Hi Myriam-chan!
Is that box big enough for two people? I wanna tell you something, but it's kind of a secret.
[She might know who this is.]

[she took the note, of course... but since there was no light in the box, she'd have to stick her arms out, raise it outside of her eye-slat, and then read it.]
W-What?! No! What kind of question is that?
[she stands up]

[He glances over his shoulder.]
I don't want your other teammates to hear about this... Or those hosts. They might get jealous or something.

[she quieted down]
What's this about? What's the scoop? Sss, sss.

[He glances around again before whispering into the flap on the front of the box.]
I put in a vote for you.

[Well, sort of. He could probably think of some plan to mess with Monokuma's game, but that would take some time... And who knows how many would fall in that time?]

As someone who was in a similar situation before I got here, I can tell you they're most likely serious about the killing thing.

If... Or really, when someone is found dead, we have to do a class trial to figure out who killed that person. If the murderer is caught, they get "punished." If they get away with it...
[Everyone else dies.]
That's where I was. Like I said, at least we can try to save people here.

...Kahk kahk kahk. Okay, thanks for not... you know, letting me be killed, but... why are we keeping it a secret? I think I saw there were some people trying to organize who exactly is voting for who. Can we tell them...?
no subject
Well, someone like you who would be better off writing newspapers than participating in a social game of death deserves to be spared. And unless I'm the only person who voted for you, I think I might have secured you a spot in the hotel.
[IF. That's a big "if" and he knows it.]
I think it's more likely someone else will vote for you too if nobody realizes you already have a vote.

I mean... as much as I'd like to get the scoop on this place, I'd like to leave it still alive too...
--What about you, though?
no subject
I think I should be fine. Someone already traded my other vote with me, so at least I'll live to see another day. Besides, someone's gotta look out for the team's survival. Might as well be the Ultimate Supreme Leader, huh?
no subject
...Wait a sec, that means you're actually going to try to win? You're really going for it?
no subject
[That is what he is, right?]
Maybe? Or maybe I just wanna make sure the others win and I manage to get a hotel room too?
[Another confusing non-answer from Kokichi Ouma.]
no subject
Oh... good! I mean, it's just... it's starting to sound really dangerous...
no subject
Yeah, I know. One reason why I'm trying to get you out of this mess.

Hey, if they're angry then let them be angry. Nobody really cares for the wicked, do they?
[What he probably means is he doesn't have many friends at that Academy of death.]
